Football in Lloret de Mar

We as well arranged football-games against other pubs. The best one was when we had Michael Laudrup (danish captain) and Klaus Berggreen (another danish national-player) in our team. We won 11 - 0 and everybody wondered how come, but we weren't allowed to tell who they were, just in case they got injured. They came with friends from Denmark for many years, until their cover was blown. On the top-picture is Laudrup on the left, Nygaard, Berggreen and 2 friends.

Bottom picture is Laudrup on the right. Nice body !!!

Early 1990's ? in Lloret de Mar

Haven't got a clue of the date. The only thing I recognise is the big camcorder on the table, makes me think it was the early 90's. They were bikers from Norway. Anybody enlighten me please ?

Sorry, for being away for such a long time, but I hope to pick up where we stopped. I think this is the year 1979. Paul and Colin are on the left, then 2 bikers from Moss, Steward from Australia and our very own Emilio.

Egil "the killer" from Norway

Here is another puzzle. This is Egil, according to Rene from Holland, who turned into James Bond after a few pints. There is another foto from him earlier on in this blog with the french connection. His friend Reid or Rein was married to a french girl called Sonia. Has anybody got his whereabouts ? Please let me know, thanks.

   Brit, Bjørg Marit and Anne Karin  This picture was taken in 1982 by Rene from Holland. May be some offspring recognizes their mother or relative who was inter-railing europe as it was the favourite way to travel. It must just have stop raining looking at the street.

Toga-parties in Lloret de Mar

The first picture is one of many Toga-parties in Gerry's. The Hotel Planas next door ask us ,if we can tell them when were, because then they would give our guests old sheets, instead of ripping new ones of their beds.

"El Reno" the late night restaurant came only to life after 2 am in the morning. Had great pizzas (still have). An am azing sober looking Svein Saure there.

Lloret de Mar , which year was that ?

According to Terje the year was 95. From the left to right Colin, Elaine Wood, Grethe Olsen, Truls, Karsten and  Pal. Second row is me, Terje Larsen, Roger Warren, Freddy and laying across is Stig.

First one today is a very youthfull Colin, Svein Saure (Alesund) and Paul in the late 70th.
Well,  next we have Erik Kroken and Cathrine Lindanger (better known down here as blond Tina).

Lloret de Mar's good bye

Everything has to have an end. So the good-byes were hard, but we knew most of the people were coming back sometimes. So we had at least some good pictures taken.

The first row is Raymond, Lisbeth,Lars,Colin,me,Monica,Nora,Terje and little Colin. Behind the 4th from the left is Petter,Gry..............help !!!

I don't know how many people tried to get in this foto. I just want to mention Simon in front of the tree with a guitar.

Celebrations in Lloret de Mar

I don't know what was the occasion but underneath I believe some body must have won a football-game or something, because of the cup being hold uo in the middle of the picture.

Lloret de Mar, Gerry's Bar Puzzle

I got a comment from Heavy. The picture was taken in 1985. Behind the guy with the stereo is Nina Danielsen, on her right is Svein Arild Johannessen and on her left is Togga ( Torgeir). They were all from the Stavanger motocycle-club. Any more names please ?

We had a lot of people coming with the bikes over the years. Not anymore tho.............I like the one with the synchronnised getting on the back on the bike one.

French connection

Johnny recognized Roald Brye ( Bryen) squating and behind him Rolf Haland and I think that's Egil on the left and behind is Ketil.
. Underneath is Alfred  on the right and again Rolf in the middle.

Norskies & Locals from Lloret de Mar

These fotos show that the Norskies made some real effort to mix with the locals. As Johnny Stahl told me the girl on "Fitta's" knee was Sissel from Stavanger and again taken in 1987. Ketil tried really hard seen on the left with Lourdes and Dani. Marc (seen here with Lars) was really a Scot, but his wife was spanish, so we put him there. On the bottom is Ketil with Mercedes from Pete's Bar.
